I like the Old Waverly Hotel first for the location. It's right across from the Waverly Train Station and the bus to the airport. If you're lucky, you can get a room with a view of the castle. I've enjoyed great meals in the hotel lounge.

The breakfast manager was really rude to my family and to his fellow employees who were working the dest out front. I would not stay there again because of him.

My room was filthy. The grout in tub had mold. The bed was broken. The walls were streaked with dirt. I would have left if I had an alternate accomodation. Spent one night only.
