Good Value

April 2009 4 night stay. Our party was 3 adults and we are "conservative" travelers who don't believe in spending money on a room you will only use to sleep and bathe. That said, this motel was exactly like every other basic value motel. It was clean and everything worked. No funny smells. All staff were helpful. Getting extra towels was no problem. The motel is immediately next to the local mall and is located on the outer edge of town near highways but Santa Fe is very easy to nagivate so getting around wasn't a problem.

Pleasantly Surprised

We only stayed in the hotel one night, while passing through with our small children. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor was pleasant. We were pleased to find hot waffles, milk and real juice the next morning included in the continental breakfast rather than the traditional toast & muffins only (although those were there too). I would definitley stay there again, especially considering the price. Although if I were wanting to experience the "real" historic Santa Fe, I might want to stay a little closer to downtown. This hotel was a great location for traveling through... right off the highway.

Good value for the price

We got a room at this hotel for $* a night with AAA discount. While we had to drive a few miles to the plaza, it was worth it for the amount of money we saved. The room was nice and clean. The continental breakfast included waffles. In my opinion it was a great value for the price we paid.

Santa Fe La Quinta Inn

The La Quinta was a life saver. I had been checking for available hotel rooms in Santa Fe and could not find any due to the Indian Market. I was checking with the online travel website when suddenly La Quinta popped up with available rooms at a reasonable price. Check-in was a breeze. The continental breakfast was good with ample choices. Our rooms were clean and quiet. I will stay there again.

Decent budget motel, not great location

This La Quinta basically met my expectations. At a budget motel you don't expect anything luxurious or any special services. The room was clean, normal-sized, and relatively up-to-date. The pool was small but clean. The free breakfast was the same as any other free breakfast you get at this type of motel. Overall: nothing special, but what you would expect. The main downside of this motel is its location in Santa Fe. It's far from the center (Plaza) and in an area of malls and chain restaurants. It is convenient to the freeway, however. Stay here if you are on a budget and don't have to be in the center of the action.
