I was in Bend for one night during a local interview and had the pleasure of staying at the Ameritel Inn. The location, wi-fi and healthy breakfast options are excellent. Rooms are very nice, and all west facing rooms have mountain/river views. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Classy Hotel

We've stayed several times at this classy hotel both on business and for pleasure. It's location is in the perfect spot next to the Old Mill District in Bend overlooking Mt. Bachelor. The huge stone fireplace in the lobby is nice and cozy and gives this hotel a lodge like feel. The rooms are always clean and up to date. It's a very short, safe walk to several restaurants, shops and entertainment. The pool was a big hit with the kids and the gym area was nice too. The front desk staff is friendly & helpful and went out of their way to give us directions to where we needed to go. It's in close driving proximity to parks, the Deschutes River and Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort. We recommend this hotel to our friends and family that travel to Bend. We also love the added touch of fresh baked cookies in the afternoon.

This is a very clean, friendly hotel. I was very impressed. It is just a short walk to the movie theater, restaurants, shopping and a music venue.
