We have stayed in theh Club Quarters at Wacker in Chicago and have been so well served, so we were glad to find one for a short stay in San Francisco. The management was sooo helpful in giving us restaurant advice and directions. This is always just what we need since we don't require a deluxe hotel, choosing to spend our time seeing the sights. Try it!

In a pricey city, the CQ is a great find! We paid about half of what most of the other popular chains were offering, but didn't have to comporomise quality. The hotel is geared more towards business people, but my husband and I felt at home even though we were just on vacation. The room we got was very clean and everything seemed new and upgraded. Not really a big room, but just enough as we spent most of our time exploring the city. We liked the FREE bottled water on each floor as most hotels offer only ice and tap for free. The gym was basic, but also nicely kept up. The staff was also generally friendly and helpful. Free internet access and printing in the lobby. I plan to look for a CQ at all of my future vacation spots. When I read the other reviews about this hotel before I booked my trip, I was afraid it was too good to be true, but it actually wasn't!!
Misleading

Hotel and staff very nice, they forgot to mention, though, that the rate listed in Travel agency is for a shoebox room. The room is so narrow that the TV is wall mounted on opposite end of where the bed is, by the bathroom. The $30 per day for parking was also disappointing.
Not worth it!

Spend more money and stay in a place that will give you fresh towels everyday!! One where the windows open and the staff says hello to you!!
The room was the size of a large closet...it was too small and had poor circulation for the AC. The tv was either loud or too quiet and you could see if the room next door had a light on. It was the most awful experience I have ever had at a hotel. They have no fridge, as stated, no wireless either.
Great Hotel - lousy internet service

The location is great. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bottled water machine in the hallway is a terrific feature. The wired high-speed internet service can't seem to keep a connection for more than a few minutes at a time. From the log on names that appeared in my network window, it seems others had the same problem.
