Super 8 Naperville Aurora

The fitness center consisted of one treadmill. The pool is very small and has way too much chlorine. The breakfast was bagels and donuts but the staff was very nice the room was clean, and check out was very quick and easy.

Good value - mediocre rooms

Probably the biggest disappointment in this hotel was the stale smell that permeated our room. I understand that when there are smoking rooms across the hall this can be difficult to control, but it overshadowed what was otherwise a pleasant experience. The room was as described, and check-in and check-out were both pain free. One of our keycards didn't work after the initial entry to the room, but we always went in and out together, so this wasn't a problem, and we didn't find out how well they would have resolved it. In all, it was a way to stay at our destination affordably, and we will probably stay there again.

good value

Was just a stopover to Chicago and a good value for the money. Since the hotels near the airport was so expensive, wished we could have stayed here during our visit to Chicago. The continental breakfast was the standard one, but the large high rise hotels don't even provide a complimentary one. Would recommend a stay here for the person who doesn't expect fine furnishings, just a good place to sleep.

Needs some work

The hotel was old. The elevator was creaky, there was a musty smell throughout the building, and things were generally falling apart. The wireless internet access did not work reliably which is important for me because I often work on the road. The staff was friendly and accommodating, however, and if they would just update the hotel it would be fine.

Should havea 2 star rating

I was a little hesitant to book this hotel based on it's rating here. The other reviews gave me hope so I did it. Honestly for the price of the room this hotel was fantastic. It is not luxury but very comfortable. Decorated nicely, beds were very comfortable, no bad smells at all, staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay at this hotel again as I travel to the Chicago area often.
