Cheap but GROSS

Stayed one night to attend college graduation. Thankfully I only paid $** for this room with my Farm Bureau discount. It wasn't even worth that. Chose a non-smoking room but the room reeked of smoke, much worse than any other motel I've stayed in. Carpet didn't look vacuumed, hair in the sink, carpet was pulled away at the seam by the bathroom with a large staple sticking out. No sheets in the room for the pull out sofa bed which had cigarrette butts and a lighter fall out when I pulled it out. When I went to the office to ask them for sheets, they acted like they had no clue what I was talking about or where to find them. I was told they'd bring some to the room. When the sheets were finally brought to the room they were not folded, just kind of a heap of sheets although they did smell clean since of course that was a concern. It was nearly midnight before we got to San Angelo and had to get up early the next morning so we didn't try to find another motel like I would have had I had more time. The only positive was that we all did sleep very well. The sheets did at least seem clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was also friendly When we go back to San Angelo to visit my brother and when we attend the stock show, we will definitely be staying elsewhere!

A big sign on the front outside stated "Under New Management---Newly Renovated Rooms." No way! This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. They had the same general amenities that most have, but we didn't touch them because they were so dirty. The beds were gross with old blankets and sheets and old thin pillows. The carpet was disgusting and threadbare. The bathroom dirty. It was obvious that our door had been knocked in as two of the hinges had been replaced, the door didn't really fit the door jam and the sliding chain lock had been bent up and management had not even attempted repair. The walls were so thin, you could literally hear everything on both sides. Lots of traffic going through the parking lot at all hours caused us to have very little sleep. Heed this advice to avoid this hotel and go on down the road.

The front desk was understaffed. The room was ok,however while at check-in I witnessed two other guest complaining about rooms being unmade when they checked in ahead of me. My room was ok except for some light bulbs were out in the room. All other hotels in the city were booked up at the time I stayed here.

We were so disappointed in this hotel. The phone didn't work, the remote to the TV was the wrong one for the set. The shower was terrible and over all it was nasty, dirty carpet, sheets were thin and torn. The only good thing I saw was the mattress was new. We will not stay here again.
Cheep and best stay
