This hotel is tucked away from the main road. Was a little hard to find. Service was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was long and felt like entering a cave. Room was OK except for the brick wall facing the beds. The atmosphere did not make you want to linger. Morning breakfast was good. All in all, for a one night layover in Madison, this hotel was fine, but I would not stay there again. I think you can find much better accommodations for the price.

Spent a week at this hotel. It was clean and quiet. Staff was nice and friendly. Simple morning fare, but good (bagels, french toast, cereals, coffee, juices and you can make your own waffles in their wafflemaker). Rooms and restrooms are a bit small, but they serve their purpose. If you are planning to live there get an apartment. If you want a place to sleep and clean up to go have fun in Wisconsin this place will do. Hotel is in a great spot, close to East Towne Mall, other shopping stores and restaurants.

Hotel did not have a phone in the room. Heater was not working. Did not get a new room until next day. Very small rooms.
Decent Hotel--You Get What you Pay For

The hotel is fairly nice and most important, clean. However, the rooms are very small and there is no refridgerater or microwave. My only thought is you get what you pay for. I was completely happy with my stay and the person at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and helpful. I was in no need for a big room or for the other appliances, however, they were available at the front desk by request, should a guest need them. If you need a cost efficient place to stay without all the frills, this is your place. What the hotel lacks in extravagance, they make up for in customer service. The location was awesome, as it is right by a mall and there are a lot of restaurants in the area as well.

A fairly minimum room at a fairly minimum price. Room was clean, everything worked, and the motel seemed to be well managed.
Perhaps too well managed. We reserved far in advance for a football weekend but on arrival after the game we were given a smoking room ("the last available"). It was alledged that travel agency had mishandled our request for non-smoking.
