Enjoyed the stay--everything was good, service, room and food. Loved the location of the hotel. My only gripe is that the parking was scarce at times; but apart from that, would highly recommend the hotel.

My two friends and I were celebrating a friend’s birthday and I had booked a room at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel as a surprise. Although it was her birthday, my friends and I purchased the romance package because she has not had luck in relationships lately. She was greeted with roses, chocolate and champagne. The room was also gorgeous and really impressed us. If that wasn't enough, the Pelagia Trattoria, a restaurant located inside the hotel was absolutely amazing. I ordered the grilled Ahi tuna and almost melted, I am not sure what everyone else had because I was so into my dish. We were so full by the end of the meal; we did not even want birthday cake. That was later saved for at night when we got to share the champagne and just relax. The next morning when we woke up we treated her to a spa day, which was amazing, and really convenient because we could walk to it from the hotel. I am usually a workaholic but this hotel really gave me a chance to bond with my friend on her birthday. I cannot wait to go back for another girl's night out!
Perfect 10 Year Wedding Anniversary

My husband and I went on a weekend getaway to The Renaissance Tampa Hotel for our 10 year wedding anniversary and I fell in love with it. My husband booked the stay and when we arrived, I was greeted with champagne, roses and chocolate through a romance package he surprised me with. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and had a very Western world feel to it. The décor was just very elegant. The room was also gorgeous and the bedding sucked us in to where the mornings were spent drinking coffee and watching a movie with my husband. We ate lunch out in an amazing courtyard and took a seat next to this beautiful fountain, it was truly romantic. At night he took me to the Pelagia Trattoria located in the hotel and my mouth watered when they brought out my New York strip steak and my husbands lamb chops. We split a delicious dark chocolate mousse cake that we couldn’t get enough of. I can truly say my husband has spoiled me rotten and I will never forget this anniversary, thanks to this hotel.

Stayed one night on business and I wish I could have stayed longer. Super hotel with very nice rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Cant wait to stay here again the next time I am in Tampa.
