Great Hotel, Great location

The Agora St. Germain was the perfect hotel for my wife and I. The location was excellent; close to subway stations and within walking distance to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter. They served a wonderful breakfast downstairs in the morning with coffee, juice, breads, cheeses, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt all for 11 Euros. It was a pretty good deal and cheaper than going to one of the local restaurants. The staff spoke english and were very helpful . They helped line up transportation and a dinner boat cruise for us.
The rooms, while small by American standards, were nicely appointed with beautiful bathrooms, a wall hung LCD television. Our room was quiet and open up not to the street but to the central courtyard.
Overall, we would stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend others do the same.
Great little hotel

I found this hotel to be a very good bargain in Paris! The staff was very courteous and friendly. The room (ours was a double bed for two people) is not real big, but very adequate. Our room was on a fairly busy side street, but not too noisy. It is close to the bus and metro, and, more importantly, close to Notre Dame and all the attractions that you would want to see on the Left Bank. Plenty of nice cafes and brasseries close by. Would stay here again!
Wonderful, charming hotel

This hotel really is charming. The rooms, although small, are comfortable with a small refrigerator/mini-bar. Delicious breakfast every morning. Delightful, friendly front desk staff willing to help with tours, directions, etc, and all speak english. Great location - a couple of blocks from Notre Dame, The Sorbonne and the Luxemborg Gardens, as well as great bakeries and cafes. Less than a block from a Metro station.
Clean and Quiet. Great Location!!

I have stayed in several hotels in and around Paris and Hotel Agora was clean, quiet and centraly located. The staff was very helpful and spoke pretty good English. I would definately stay here again!!!
Great hotel, great location

This is a great hotel. It’s still undergoing some renovations (carpet was being changed in hallways), but it only means that every appliance in our room was new and working just perfect. We stayed in a standard double room, decorated in shades of brown. The room’s design was excellent and very thoughtful. There was plenty of closet space and the bed was comfortable. To save space a flat screen TV was installed on the wall. The bathroom’s design was very thoughtful, too. This was the first time when my wife had enough space in a bathroom for all of her cosmetics and stuff. The hotel’s staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. The location was as great as the hotel. A metro station was just a couple of minutes away, so you can reach any place in central Paris in thirty minutes max. Notre Dame de Paris is a five-minute walk, and so is Pantheon. The Louvre is about twenty minutes away by foot. Check out the hotel’s location on google and you will realize how conveniently it’s located. We eat organic food, and there was an organic food store (also sold wine) two blocks away, and so was a specialty shop which sold organic/biodynamic wines, artesian cheese and meats. Two supermarkets were within reach, and so were specialty cheese, meat and seafood stores. Do you like freshly baked bread and pastries? Eric Kayser shop is around the corner from the hotel. We will stay in this hotel again.
