We stayed at the Anchorage on two different nights in two different rooms. Both times we were impressed with the size & comfort of the rooms. The rooms were clean & the staff was courteous & helpful, supplying concise directions to various attractions & discount coupons to a local lobster house. There is an indoor wading pool with whirlpool (wish we brought our suits). The location is minutes from downtown Portsmouth, Pease Tradeport, & I-95. We would definitely stay here again.

Anchorage Inn and Suites is a great place to stay while on vacation. The rooms are nicely kept and are very clean.

We liked this better than some pricier hotels in the area. Great find great service clean nice upkept rooms! We're staying here again!

I used to work at a hotel and could tell that the front desk staff genuinly liked to work there and were open to any questions about the hotel and surrounding area. The room was very clean, maybe just clean the carpets a bit more, but overall very nice room and very very fresh smelling room which is hard to come by in most hotels!
