A want to be 5 star hotel

To start off they kept us waiting for a room for two hours after we requested an early check in. The hotel was very tacky. Our room was ok but the TV was old. The breakfast buffet was too expensive and was a joke. The food was not good at all. They did not even have free coffee. I would never stay there again.

"A very clean and comfortable room. Hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful. On-site retaurants served tasty, reasonably priced meals. An easy walk to Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary."
Pretty Nice Hotel

"The Hospitality House was clean, within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and the college, and conveniently on the main road to many shops and restaurants. But, in spite of the elevated weekend rate charged, simple internet access was available only with an additional $10/day charge - something even truck stops offer for free nowadays. A small refrigerator would have been nice in the room. And, the hotel's restaurant would benefit from better service and a few special items on the menu. Overall, I would use this hotel again and was pleased with the property and the staff. "

The service was good for the price - a doorman to take our luggage up to the room, a very friendly person in the neat shop. The only disappointment was the Sunday buffet - below average. The rooms were nice though the TV was old and the picture was fuzzy.

I must say that I completely enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I've been before but the rooms have been renovated since I was last in town and it was great! They added a few more machines in the fitness center - just the basics in there but, hey, it's Williamsburg and who wants to be inside walking when you can be outside! Easy walking distance to CW, W&M, Merchant's Square - I love it! We'll be back again, thanks!
