We came here for our fifth wedding anniversary. What a horrible place to stay! The managers were even worse than the motel itself. The motel is a dump, it is 50 years old and I swear the room is that old. The bathroom has mold all over, the carpet was filthy, our socks turned from white to black, the bed had hairs in it, and the heater barely worked.The TV was vintage 1960, just like the phone, which did not work either. The place is 110-feet from where they torn down 12 other motels to make way for a convention center. Let's hope they tear down this place, it is also next to a motel for 25 years old kids, they were on party all night with loud music 24/7, but worse of all the managers did nothing. The lady manager was so rude, and her husband spent the day in a storage room with his buddies from town, you can guess what they were doing. When we asked for a couple of pillows she said she did not have any, and told us to get out of the lobby beaus she was closing for the evening; it was 7:30pm. Can you believe it? We told her the room was horrible. She told us to stay in some other place next time.
Lake Tahoe was great but this place hopefully will be torn down like the rest of the motels that are being torn down. Please stay away, this place is in a very bad area of Tahoe. Thanks to the manager who made our anniversary not one to remember.
