Hotel cancelled my reservation without informing me. We traveled over 200 miles and when we arrived at the motel we were informed that reservations were cancelled. Attitude was one of "I could care less" this is you problem and travelocity.Unable to get place to stay, traveld over 35 miles,all Inss were full,Had to travel home on the sameday

hotel wasn't too clean, ants all over the dresser and in the bad nerver stay there again.

Folks save your money. Don't be fooled by the 10lbs of paint all over, there are cracks in the walls and bathroom. The staircase is not for the faint of heart, if you have mobility problems leave now. Our original room on the first floor was moved because an elderly couple came in and couldn't walk up the stairs. The manager didnt even ask us if this was ok, he just expected us to go along with him. This i didnt mind because i do understand someone with a handicap, but when we asked him what time he wanted out of the other room he was very flexible with the time between 11-12, then he said 1pm. Then when we found out the price, he pulled a bait and switch. He said he lists the room rate on the internet as AAA RATES. The next day at 8:30am we went to confirm with him what time to be out of the room and he was not there. His daughter told us to wait around for him for 1 to 2 hours. I dont think so, i wanted to be on the beach by 9am.....So we came back at 1130am and got our new room key. Both of us took a shower in the old room so we wouldn't dirty up the new room and at 1230pm the manager called. He was very mad with us, he told us yesterday to be out by 11am. So we moved our luggage down back to the first floor at 12:45. From friday till check out day on sunday, the manager just snubbed us and acted somewhat immature towards us. Also, the staff with a few exceptions does not speak good english. First floor rooms have bugs in them from poor door closure.
Change of Rooms

When we got there we were told that we would be in a room on 3rd floor and then the next day we would be moved to the 1st floor. This was because someone who was suppose to be on 3rd floor was not able to walk steps. We asked the manager/owner when we should have to be out of our room the next day and he said 11 or 12 no rush. So my boyfriend and I went to breakfast and beach and came back around 11:30. We then decided to take our showers in old room since he was very nonchalent with what time to be out of room. Well at 12:20 there was a knock on door for cleaning staff to clean room and about 20 seconds later the phone rang and the owner said I said 11:00 and now it is 1:00 you need to get out of room. I went down stairs to give other key back after we moved stuff out and I looked at my watch and it was 12:40 not 1:00. The first floor room had ants crawling. I understand that it is any old building and that happens on with rooms on the 1st floor. Also, we were quoted one price and charged another. Would not stay here again. only thing that was good is that it was only 1 block away from boardwalk/beach.
