I do not usually stay on the south side of Palm Springs, but there were no rooms available at my usual spot. The hotel was ok--the staff were not very friendly--it almost seemed like I was bothering them when I checked in. The pool was nice, but other than that nothing special. I do really appreciate Shiloh Inn now, and I will always stay there or just not go.
A great place and worth the money

Okay, let's get one thing straight. If you're craving some fancy hotel experience with bubbling cheerful robots greeting you at the front desk and the overall feel of corporate mentality of providing the illusion of a "great stay", steer clear of this place. However, if you want a great get-away experience without spending a ton of money and be around like-minded unpretentious people who are there to have a relaxing and fun time, this is the place. The check-in staff were straight forward and responded accordingly. They allowed a 45 minute early check-in but was very professional in letting me know that an early room might not be available. The moment of truth is the initial entrance into a room and I was very pleased with the appearance and smell (let's admit, we all pay attention to smell when we first enter a new room). Beds were great. Glasses were clean. Small fridge provided. Free wirless Internet. Hair dryer. Iron, ironing board, safe. The pool is large and there's a great grassy cabana area with bbq grills if you want to bring your own charcoal. The doors to the rooms are outside facing, no hallways. But glancing at the Motel 6 outside the bathroom window of our room, I was thankful to find a place that had much more charm and comfort. Bear in mind, there's a mix of occupants who choose to stay here but that adds to the charm since the draw is to be a simple get-away staying within a budget. A jewel in Palm Springs.

Actually I was surprised. It was clean and neat. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was heated very nicely. We had trouble getting towels for the pool but it worked out. They brought it to the room. The soap and shampoos were weird and I don't think the quality of the Shampoo & conditioner were very good but that's not important overall; I think I will stay there again.!!!
Well worth the money!!

We were very pleased with this hotel, the room was large, very comfortable bed, and sheets, great marble in the bathroom, nice to have a fridge in the room, the pool area was great!!!!! very clean grounds, close to a great coffee shop, and a great Mexican restuarnt. felt very safe in the neighborhood. Staff was pleasent and accomodating. Looking forward to staying again. The only thing that wasn't the best there was a coffee or pop stain on the lamp shade.

I had booked a room for my family for a nice weekend. We were looking forward to room service but that was not the case. I checked in and asked about how was the room service, the front desk did not know what I was talking about. Apparently they have room service at all like it had said, it was already too late because I booked the room ahead and didn't follow through by calling before, my fault. Lesson learn call before booking. Other than that, the stay was pleasent. When we first walked in the room, it smelled like dog, so that wasn't a plus to the trip. I wouldn't recommend any of my friends to stay here.
