Beautiful Setting, OK Hotel

The best part of the hotel is the location right across from one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. We asked for and received a lake view room at no additional cost (we went off season in June).
The hotel itself is a bit rundown and dated. The walls are very thin, so hope that your neighbors are quiet. The continental breakfast was not much to thrill us with.
All in all, if you don't plan on spending much time in the room, for the price it was pretty good. Don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed.

the location of the hotel is great; right across the street from the lake. it is an old hotel. old cabinets, carpet, baths and beds. the sound from other rooms carry through out and make it hard to get a good night's sleep. the staff was very help and the continental breakfast was ok. if i had small children and needed a kitchen and were planning to spend a lot of time at the lake's beach this would be an ok place to stay, but for any type of atmosphere this is not the place to go.
I have to pay to stay here?

Bed sheets were dingy white, with stains. Towels in the bathroom smelled like mold and had stains as well. Beds were in poor shape, my drivers seat was more comfortable. The front desk clerk was the only bright spot, he was extremely helpful. Cannot see a view due to being stuck in the back but I am able to see the front walkway very well. Room service really needs to do a better job !!!!!! Left hotel after the first night due to the state of the room. Will not recommend this hotel due to the complete lack of a cleaning staff. Travel staff was very good about trying to help find a new hotel.

The Hotel was nice but was kinda old not bad for the price. One thing i regret before i checked in is printing my confirmation because it caused a 1 hr in delay in getting the room before checking in and checking out the attendants just could not understand how good pricing we got cuz it beat all the other deals. So I recament that everyone should print out an receipt before checking it.

The staff although new (Management change in the last month) was very helpful.The location is top notch. Right across from the Lake and just down the street from the casinos.Rooms are clean and nice - it is not the Ritz but a great find.We would absolutely stay there again and again,
