Decent all around

Stayed here on a quiet Sunday night. Paid the extra $9 for an end oversize room - frig, 2 recliner chairs and 2 beds. Average and decent place to stay - beds ok, clean, spacious. Breakfast average - I'll give it a half star extra for the waffles and sausage gravy. The biggest plus was easy access to expry, more than a half dozen chain restaurants nearby, and a mall and some stores on 3 different corners.

Stayed here on the way to a campus visit of UW Stout. I was very impressed with the hotel considering the price. The room was clean , quite and in pretty good shape. Linens seems a bit old but clean. The Continental breakfast was good, staff friendly. Did not get to use the pool but internet worked great but a little slow. One of the better $* hotels I have stayed at.

Traveling to Eau Claire to visit relatives - thought a hotel would be best for my family. Heartland Inn was wonderful - had expanded breakfast, popcorn/cookies in the evening, and a pool for the kids to enjoy. Room was large enough for all of us - beds were very comfy.

We had a short stay but found the hotel quiet, comfortable and nicely priced. Enjoyed the breakfast and snacks.

We were disapointed. There was no evening snack as advertised. The hot breakfast consisted of waffles and some sauage gravy in a crock pot.We arrived for breakfast early and there was not much of a choice of fruit or other items that you expect to see in a breakfast buffet. In addition, the pool was quite dirty. It is an older motel in need of updating.
