Stardust-Tahoe is a family-run timeshare. The staff is friendly and willing to help at all times. The two-bedroom provided enough room for our family of four very comfortably. We also had two full bathrooms. The kitchette provided a apartment size fridge, which was a surprise. This resort is not fancy but provided all the essentials (two heated pools and two hot tubs with an exercise room) in a GREAT location for the area.

Best Things About the Resort:
Comfortable.

Resort Experience:
We were given a guest certificate week at the Stardust Resort in Lake Tahoe from my mother-in-law as a honeymoon present. We had our wedding the weekend before in Kingsbeach on the north shore, so this was convenient, as we wanted to stay on the south shore for the next week. We stayed in June and the weather was great, but it’s always nice in Tahoe. My mother-in-law stayed there a couple days at the beginning of the week in a studio-sized room. When we came, she asked if we could upgrade and they were more than happy to oblige. We enjoyed our stay there. They had a bicycle tour, free internet, donuts, and coffee in the mornings.

There was daily linen service. The room had a TV, VCR, and radio. There was a kitchenette with everything that you would need: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, single stove, microwave, and fridge. They have a pool. All the staff was very friendly and helpful with any sightseeing questions. There are shuttles to take you to the different casinos. The beach is in walking distance. This is not like staying at the Hilton, or a hotel like that. If you are looking for a comfortable stay, this is a good place.

Best Things Nearby:
Stateline less than 5-minute walk; Heavenly Gondola across the road; casinos 5-minutes away on foot; and supermarket 5-minute walk. In fact, so many things are within walking distance.

Best Things About the Resort:
It's a fairly small but intimate resort with very friendly staff (including "Dusty" the cat).

Resort Experience:
I enjoyed my stay here. The resort offers free coffee and doughnuts at breakfast time and complimentary coffee all day long in the reception area. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable concierge called Jim who appeared, at times, to be the "font of all wisdom". All guests have free use of an internet terminal for surfing or sending e-mails. Various sporting equipment items are also available for guests' use.

The studios were of a reasonable size with large pull-down beds and a sofa that could also used as a bed. They had good-quality furnishings with small kitchen facilities. It was very clean and, if you so desired, your linen could be changed every two days. Two washing machines and two tumble dryers were available for guests at no extea cost.

I would have no hesitation staying there again.
