Casa de las Chimineas Bed and Breakfast Inn in Taos is a wonderful escape. Unlike many B&B accommodations, the rooms at Casa de las Chimineas are separate from the main building, offering an added level of privacy. Each Southwest-style room has its own kiva fireplace (therefore the name, “house of chimneys”). Our room also had a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Spa services are available by appointment in a small spa on the premises. An outdoor hot tub is always available. As well as breakfast, the room rate includes a buffet dinner. Tracie, the full-time concierge, helped to connect us with the local activities we were interested in, including white-water rafting and llama trekking.
