The staff at the Red Lion were really great. My only complaint is the loud noise from the train and road next to the hotel. No hot tub in pool area was a reall disappointment.

Our stay at the La Quinta was fabulous from start to finish. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and great expedient serivce by the two gals at the front desk. They called our room to check on us and make sure everything was as expected and to see if we needed a wake up call. EVERYONE was very friendly and helpful. It is refreshing to receive that great of service. Thank you so much, I will stay here again.

The rooms are good for the price available, but know that the hotel is renovated. The attached lobby area and meeting rooms are state-of-the-art and very nice, but the attached hotel rooms are still old and although renovated, he fixtures and rugs are still old. The beds were fabulous and very, very comfortable. Bathroom fixtures are still old but room was generally clean. The first night was fine, but the next night we stayed in another room and the a/c didn't work very well. The room was stuffy. Lastly, we were awakened by a fire alarm at 2am and the hotel was evacuated. It was terrifying and raining outside, only to find out an elevator in the bldg had caught fire. Be wary for the price given.

The hotel was nice except it is right next to the freeway and you hear trucks, cars, and trains all through the night. We got woke up to a false fire alarm two days in a row at 6:30 am. Not to mention that when we got there we had to switch rooms due to the heat not working.
Red Lion Inn

If you're looking for a nice room near the airport with a free shuttle for your flight home, the Red Lion Inn would be a good choice. Located only about 20 minutes from DIA, the Red Lion Inn is equipped with restaurant, free shuttle, and nice rooms.
