This has got to be the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed at. Check in, meant front desk guy trying to give us a city view room after we paid for and had booked an ocean view room. When we got to the room I called him and told him there must have been a mix-up. He did not want to be bothered until we made him correct. Queen size bed had broken springs and collapsed in the middle, vertical blinds were broken so you could not close them all the way, no toilet paper, provided one pillow per person, Air Conditioner leaked water on to the floor, water damage on the ceiling from AC with plaster falling from the ceiling to the floor, no soap/shampoo provided, stains on wall/floor, pictures missing from wall with nails where they were suppose to be, 1 of the elevators was shut down, rude front desk staff and old room (had not been updated/maintained in quite some time. On top of that, you have to pay $3.00 for a beach chair and cannot utilize your own chair/towel on the beach. What a Joke! The list goes on and on. Each person there needs customer service training. Any other hotel I have been to, the front desk has been amazing and falling all over you in a great way. Here, it was if we were a nuisance to them. Please, do yourself a favor and don't book Ocean Manor Beach Resort.

Pleople working front desk during day not very friendly or helpful. Room we had looked nothing like the one on website. Booked an oceanview room, got one on the side of hotel no balcony. Bathroom stunk like stagnet water, plus water didn't go down drain told front desk about it took them three days to fix. Airconditioning didn't work right. Housekeeping was terrible called a few times for towels never showed up. Took them forever to clean room. We arrived at 4 o'clock pm room wasn't ready waited for cleaning lady to finish took her about another hour or more to finish. never knew when they were going to come and clean -all different times.

The previous reviews really scared us but we figured you get what you pay for so we were not expecting much since we got the cheapest rate possible (figured we would be on the beach more than in the room) for this time period. We were also open-minded and we were pleasantly surprised!!!! Yes the building is under some construction but that just means they are upgrading to make it a nicer place for all. It is a owner condominium complex run like a hotel and yes there are some owners who seem not to care for the renters, but there are were also some nice owners. Some of the staff is friendly: the waitresses, waiters, the ice cream lady was wonderful, the pool staff was very nice, some of the desk clerks were very nice and helpful others were not (you find this anywhere). Our suite room was AWESOME! and this was a big surprise based on all the reviews, there were cleanliness issues(trash/debris) in the landscaping out by the pool area only, our room was very clean we only had a maid one day but we usually don't want a maid at all during our stays anyway. The bar & bathrooms by the pool got bleached down every morning. I would also add that we stayed at this hotel with our 5 young children (ages 2-10). The Beach is close to the pool and tiki bar and the set up was perfect for the kids and the adults. We had no problems with the bar being too loud and the food at the tiki bar was very good. There is definitely a mixed crowd (don't think I would honeymoon here) but it is very kid-friendly and we are already planning another trip to the Ocean Manor!!!
Ocean Manor is NOT a Hotel!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Went with my daughter and her friends for spring break. Booked 6 months in advance, when we checked in there was no room to meet my reservation. The manager did not care at all, told me I had to accept whatever they had. It took 3 hours to check in and at 5:00 p.m. the room they put us in was still not cleaned. Nothing and I mean nothing was done to accomodate us.
Ocean Manor is NOT a hotel, it is a condominium building with little to no service. Our room was only cleaned 3 days over the week. They never gave us enough towels and if you wanted or needed something you had to go to the lobby because nothing was ever sent to the room. I caution everyone not to stay there or eat there. The pool was the ONLY nice part, which all the surrounding hotels customers come to use.

WOW! What a place! No lock on our room door. King mattress in a Queen Bed Frame. LOUD air conditioner, but yes, there was air! 3 of 4 elevators were out of service. Everyone was complaining about the place. It is a condo/apartment/hotel! Only saving grace was less than a 24 hour stay and a Nice pool and Tiki Bar!
