I was hesitiant about staying here after reading other reviews. This hotel/resort was fantastic. The travel agency never sent my reservations and the hotel accomodated me anyway and took it up with the travel agency. The Tiki Bar is awesome, we didn't leave the resort at all, we just went to the beach each day and then to the bar for drinks and meals. And it was all reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and professional also. We met up with the owner and General Manager and they both listened to our ideas and told us about events that would be taking place there. I would definitely stay here again..... A few downfalls are.... small beach towels and you have to rent the chairs for the beah. We just laid on our towels on the beach, its more comfortable that way anyway. Understand that the hotel is under new ownership and they are updating all of the rooms with time. Most likely if you don't like the quality of your room they will change it for you, they offered that to us but our room was fine.
Great place

I would stay there again and plan on it in June with my daughter and grandson on vacation. The first time I stayed there, the air conditioner leaked all over the floor and we had came in from the beach and slipped and fell twisting my ankle. Needless to say the staff did nothing about it. Said nothing about it. I call the manager after I got home and never got a call back. So we will see what happens when I go back. The location is great and a great deal for the money. The Hot wings are some of the best Ive ever ate.
We enjoyed our stay!!

Some may disagree, but we had a wonderful room at this hotel. It is a condo hotel, so all rooms differ. Maybe we were lucky, but we had a great, clean, comfortable room with a beautiful view of Ft. Lauderdale. We wanted an efficiency so that we could cook some of our meals instead of having to go out for all of them, and we got exactly what we wanted. We had what they call a mini kitchen, but being from New York, it was a normal size kitchen to me. It came equipped with all of the essentials, pots, pans, utensils, cups etc... There is a Winn Dixie Supermarket across the way in the shopping center, so getting food, and other things we needed was quite easy. Our bed was a Simmons Beuty rest, which was awesome. We slept very well, although I am sure some of the drinks helped with that as well. Our room was made up for us everyday, and even the dishes were done. That was a nice surprise. Even though we had soap and shampoo, we were still given more each day, along with clean towels. The Ocean manor has a great indoor bar, called Rumor Has It, with daily happy hour, and a great bartender, T. The tiki bar by the pool and beach is awesome all day and evening. If you hang ou by the pool and beach all day, you may see the man they call "the dancing bear" who is awesome. He lives near by, but comes to the pool everyday, and dances with his headphones on. We also met some great staff members of the hotel, that we actually became friends with, and now stay in touch with.
BELIEVE ME, DONT LET THE PICS FOOL YOU!!!!!!!!!

This hotel is disguising. Dont stay here. Me and some friends booked the hotel for 4 days, we checked in and left just an hour later. First of all, the customer service was terrible. The person at the counter was very rude. When we got to our room, the door wouldn't close all the way, there was a hole in was, blond hair in the bed (and none of us that went were, nor has ever been blond. Lol) when we called for room service we were hung up on, and put on hold forever. Then we just decided we weren't gonna take it any more and found a better hotel down the street ( the bahia mai resort, now this is how a hotel should look, I would definately recommend staying here). Then the staff at the ocean manor resort didnt want to give us our money back. We didnt get to talk to a manager til the last day we were visiting fl. We had to act a fool to get a full refund and threaten to take our pictures to the media.
What ever you do not stay here. Believe me, the pictures of there hotel is decieving.
Oh and another thing, the vallet service is slow, they had only one person doing it. And the vallet almost crashed our rental car.

They show bwautiful pictures on line but in pearson its A JOKE. We tried to check in and was given the run around about booking A ocean front room, we were told that we booked A city viev and our conformatin stated that we paid for A ocean view room. We met 3 other couples and were all given the same line dont sell 1 thing on line and try to sell another room when you check in. All rooms OLD IN NEED OF UPDATES! NOT CLEAN our feet stuck to the floor and the bathroom had a plastic door not to mention our locks were broken on our door. We will never go back to thie hotel and none of our friends will either. The pool was a disaster, filthy. We liked nothing about this hotel.Check out room 220 and only 2 of the 4 elevators were working. They ack like A resort hotel and look like A 1 star. DONT GO.
