Horrible Experience

We had a prepaid reservation however, there was no room available on arrival. After trying to check in twice, the hotel attempted to put us in the managers unit, which did not have a proper or working lock and the ceiling light was dangling precariously over the bed. The hotel claimed there was nothing else available and refused to refund our money. We will probably make a complaint with the BBB and CA lodging/hotel board.
