Couldn't wait to leave

We only stayed here because we could not continue our stay at the Best Western next door. We were promised wireless internet access, but it was down all weekend. Previous guests' wet towels were still in our room. Calls to the front desk were repeatedly disconnected before actually talking to anyone. The TV only had about 5 channels, 3 of which were too fuzzy to watch -- not good when you're travelling with a 4-year-old. The pool was freezing cold and maintenance told me that a part was broken and on order and to not bother with the sauna as it was broken, too. Housekeeping never came to our room, so we had no clean towels as we had to use our room towels for the pool. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall.
They advertise in the rooms that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but when asked how seriously they honored it, our request was ignored.
Staff often behaved as if they were bored and clueless.
The in-house restaurant advertises a breakfast buffet, but was closed when we went down at 10:30 am and looked like it hadn't been open at all that morning.
Although it is an older building, paying attention to details (better TV reception, friendlier staff) would have made this a better experience.

This is an old hotel with need for many improvements....hall rugs badly stained, no elevators but 4 storeys, tub tile cracked in many places, bathroom fans clogged with dust and not working, wallpaper in rooms needs replacement....on plus side....lots of parking, great pool, sauna and whirlpool, best rate on River Road
Not worth the savings

The hotel room was barely clean, we did have clean sheets. NO elavator so not good for those who are elderly or have a lot of Luggage. DON'T eat at the Frontier unless you have alot of cash for so-so service and food. We'd be better off paying an extra $20 to get what is basic at other Day's Inns
