Very nice hotel

Getting to the hotel was a little tricky but once there we were very happy. The front desk staff was extremely nice and very helpful. My two big prerequisites of a hotel are that the bed be comfortable and the water pressure in the shower be good. The Crowne Plaza has both of these features, as well as both the bedroom and bathroom being very clean. The only negative thing I would say is that there didn't seem to be any restaurants in the area. The restaurant in the hotel was good but it would have been nice to have a little variety. Our reason for being in the area was to attend a Yankee game without paying the big bucks for a hotel in the city and the location of the hotel was perfect. It took us 30 minutes door to door for half the price. I would definitely stay here again.
Very Clean Rooms

I stayed here with my family and I highly recommend! Our rooms were so clean with extremely comfortable beds. Close access to NYC is also a plus. We did have an issue with some guests in the next room and we were credited for one night of our stay. Staff was extremely courteous. We will definately stay here again.

My husband and I chose to stay here rather than directly in NYC and we were so glad we did. It is very easy to get to the city from here and the hotel itself was very nice. We were impressed at how clean the rooms were and how friendly and helpful the staff was. We will be returning to this hotel.
Lousy Service!

Although I had I Priority Club advance reservation the check-in clerk could not find my reservation. I wasted at least 30 minutes upon check-in. After going up to room I found out that the electronic access card was not activated and I could not enter my room. The Hotel Mgr was not available. Finally I was given a card that worked but it worked only for one day. I had the same problem on the 2nd day of my stay. I requested a free night to compensate these hotel created problems but was denied.
