My son and i visited Boston and booked this hotel on the recommendation of others who had stay during the marathon. The rooms were great. the staff was extremely accommodating, especially the concierge staff! Were are planning to stay here when we visit next June!

We were allowed early check-in & a non-smoking room was made available upon request. The front desk staff was very nice & accomodating. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, and loved the single serve coffee maker. The only downfall was a tiny TV. Nothing I'd bother renting a movie on. It couldn't have been bigger than a 19". Had to get TP from housekeeping in the hall because an extra was not left. The lounge was very nice! Very friendly staff throughout the whole hotel. It was conveniently located to the Boston Univ campus where we needed to be. Taxi's were always available whenever we needed them.

Well worth the stay

I see some where disappointed. This was a great hotel and a great experience for my kids who have never been in a big city. We stayed on the 10th floor and we came with friends to the museum, aquarium, and Quincy Market. The kids were mesmerized with the view over the Charles River...Location was unbelievable. Far enough away from the hubbub, but the city lights kept the kids up in the bedroom while the adults were in the living room relaxing with a cocktail. The staff was superb, we did not dine their, but the staff recommended a delivery place that had excellent food and was reasonably priced. The pool was big and plenty of towels and seats. Attached hot tub. The sauna was nice and relaxing. The kids received backpacks (complimentary) and everyone got a warm chocolate chip cookie. I broke my back and all hotel beds kill me, but this was a huge king size bed that I slept very well on. The kids did sleep on the fold out couch with no complaints. Our friends had a room next door and there stay was just as good. The shuttle was a big bonus to get to the aquarium the next day. We are planning a trip with just adults and we will be staying here, it accommodates families, but it is a romantic getaway just with the view from your room. Unbelievable, that anyone would say it was not accommodating. Coming from a small town to a big city usually it is me with the gripes, but this hotel was more then I expected in all ways. Friendly and accommodating the staff was just great.

We had a suite. The extra room was nice since there were 4 of us. We had a great view of the river.
