Description: Adam's Mark Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Dallas, walking distance away from the Dallas Aquarium and Dallas Museum of Art. The hotel's entrance was on a one way street and the parking lot for the hotel was located across the entrance. Self-parking was $10 overnight and the parking lot connected to the central tower through a skybridge. When we checked in we learned that the Adam'a Mark hotel had three towers: North, Central and South towers. We stayed at the 18th floor of the north tower.
When we opened the door to our room we were taken with the beautiful view of skyscrapers. I looked from our window and tried to find J.R.'s office building, but I guess the Dallas skyline might have changed a little in the last 20 plus years. Our room with only one king size bed was pretty small. I told my husband that J.R. wouldn't bring his mistresses to our room. Maybe they'd go next door to the executive suite.
In our small room there was a work desk with a chair, big screen TV, an armchair, and a vanity with sink. The room looked nice and fresh. The bathroom was one of the cleanist bathrooms I had seen, and its size was good. There was a seperate vanity with sink in the bathroom as well.
We dimmed the lights to enjoy the skyline of Dallas and ordered room service: NY Strip Steak, with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. The food was really delicious. I didn't expect it to be that good.
As we only stayed one night at the Adam's Mark hotel we didn't have a chance to eat in its brasserie, bagel shop (for breakfast and lunch), cafe, sports bar, or its restaurant. We also didn't use the indoor pool or the health club on the fourth floor.
