The rooms were great with a view of the marina & bridge. The location gives you easy access to all highways. The hotel complementary breakfast was great. We look forward to another stay

Very good value for the location

Clean, convenient, fantastic views of the Columbia River and cargo ships, as well as the marina. The "boutique" hotel nearby is 2 1/2 times the rate of this property. Sure it is not the newest hotel and is exterior doors, but our room was roomy, we had a balcony and could enjoy the river. Trolley is nearby. We got a great dinner referral and good directions. The room had a mini frig and microwave (we got one of the upgraded rooms for a few dollars more). We would definitely go back again.

This hotel is in need of some TLC. That said, we found the room clean, and cozy, although it did remind us of the late 70's! We planned on staying there 1 night but stayed a total of 4 nights just because the view was so beautiful. Make sure to get a view facing the marina AND Columbia river. The second floor makes for better viewing of large ships as they ply their way though the river. The breakfast was very good and the internet was fast. We found that the bathroom was clean, but also dated. Some other reviewers complained about lack of a fan, but when we came in early October, we found that opening the door was very good at moving the air around. The bed was comfortable and the carpet was newly updated, although the sliding door needed replacement. The baby had a lot of fun looking out the doors at the boats! Overall, I would say that this is a good value and a great view. If the owners were to update the bathrooms and such they could compete very well with the much more expensive "Cannery Hotel" just down the street. I highly recommend it!

A Red Lion Inn, this is not one

Red Lion Corp needs to take a long hard look at this place. I would not want my company name associated with this derilect property. Sub standard is the key word for the condition or lack their of, for this property. Peeling and chipped paint in large areas, broken mirror in bathroom, the exterior could be mistaken for a homeless shelter. The bathroom was so gross, hair in tub and on floor, grunge around tub with missing grout, neither my wife nor I would use anything but the toilet. I could go on, but you can get the idea.
