Great Place to Stay...Town a Little Dull

  • September 21, 2009

Stayed at the Embassy Suites in Hot Springs, AR during Thanksgiving of 2008. The hotel was great. The staff excellent. The location was perfect. The only issue is that Hot Springs is a little dull. Not a bad place to get away with loved ones if the main purpose is to just be together. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great Experience! I Will Definitely Stay Again

We just returned from a two-night stay at the Hot Springs location. Our suite was perfect for myself, my husband and two boys ages 8 and 10. When in the room they were able to watch wrestling and I was not disturbed in the bedroom watching what I wanted. We made good use of the fridge and microwave; bathroom was great; temperature wonderful! The breakfast was outstanding as well; except for the lady who made the omelettes the first morning; very short with the patrons initially, but she tried to warm up a little when serving the plates. My one and only complaint is the extra fee to use the internet in the privacy of your room; however, this did prevent me from doing "work" when I did not have to, so it was actually OK:) Thank you for a great time!

Smoking Room, Not Good

I recently travelled to Hot Springs and stayed at the Embassy Suites. The Hotel is beatiful. But the only double room available was a smoking room. I was assured that an ozone machine would be placed in the room and that it would be sprayed to eliminate the odor. When I returned to my room that evening the ozone machine had been removed and the smell was worse. That evening the smoke smell kept getting stronger, I quickly realized it was because I was next door to a smoking room and the cig. smoke was coming under the door. This room was pricey but it seemed even more so because all I wanted to do was stay out of the room because of the smoke smell. I was disappointed that more was not done to make the room smell better.

Best Place to Stay in Hot Springs

The hotel is beautiful, located close to everything and the breakfast can't be beat. Out only problem was a very rude lady making omlets at the breakfast who kept screaming at me to tell her what I wanted in my omlet while I was trying to tell the other cook what my child wanted with his eggs. All other staff were wonderful and the rude cook was reported to management who promised to follow up on my complaint. Would definitely stay there again.

Really Good Embassy Suites

I stay at Embassy Suites quite often and this is one of the best. Excellent facilities. Very helpful and courteous staff. The pool and spa was very nice. My only criticisms might be: (1) The Manager's Reception Friday night consisted of only tortilla chips and picante sauce, and (2) The person doing the made to order breakfasts hasn't been to "charm school" yet! Overall great place. Stay here - you'll enjoy it.
