Awesome Hotel!

I went to NYC for the first time ever in June 2009 for a friends wedding. Everyone else was staying at another hotel but it was way too expensive for me so I decided to stay here and I am so glad I did. The room was a good size, very modern and clean. When I saw the size of my friends room at the other hotel I was estatic because it was a shoebox compared to my room. Also this hotel is about 2 blocks from Time Square so it was a perfect location! When I go back to NYC I will definitly be staying here again! One thing that was a little off putting was how small the elevators were, but atleast they worked :)

Had a Reservation, but my room was given away!

Flight was delayed 2 hours, shuttle driver was 45mins late. By the time I arrrived at Club Quarters at 1:00a.m. my room was given away because there was a fire at the Club Quarters Downtown location and the patrons were given all the rooms. When customers with Reservations arrived they were directed to other hotels IF rooms were available. The day manager did not leave money in petty cash, and all the hotels with rooms available only accepted payment by customer or by cash. Of course I wasn't doing that because I'd already paid Club Quarters. It took an hour and half to find us an alternate hotel that accepted payment thru direct bill by Club Quarters. Can't rate the hotel's quality because I never made it past the lobby. The day manager was contacted repeatedly but wouldn't answer the phone. She barely offered apologies and gave a free continental breakfast. That's no compensation when it's 1am and you want to go relax, but have to walk to another hotel! The night manager Steve handled the situation excellently, he was calm, and did everything he could think of to get us another room.

The staff were efficient but not overly abundant. The room was adequate but smaller than those of luxury hotels. Internet service greatly appreciated. Location and price were outstanding.

Great hotel - great price - great location

We were close to everything in Times Square, within easy walking distance of some of our favorite places. The Club Quarters Midtown was also close to Grand Central Station, a bonus when arriving late evening. The hotel was perfectly neat and clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We've also stayed at Club Quarters Rockefeller Center - same positive experience. After 2 Club Quarters visits in the last 2 months, we're fans. Can't beat the price either (as long as they have availability).

I had a very good experience!

I have been to Manhattan several times before and I have stayed in a dive and I have stayed in a "fancy" hotel. This hotel was, in my opinion, perfect. In no way was it fancy, but I also paid 1/3 of the "fancy" hotel price per night! The location is fantastic and the room was clean and comfortable. We actully fit 3 adult women in the room nicely. Remember that few hotels in NYC have rooms that one would call spacious by most of American's standards. This room was comfortable and we slept well, but that is really all we did in the room since we were out eating, shopping and taking in shows from mid-morning until late at night. The hotel provided us with crisp, delicious apples at the front desk every morning (which was our breakfast daily) and bottled water (you can put together your own bottle anytime down in the fitness room) every evening. The hotel was very quite and you had to have a key to access your floor (for security purposes). The people who worked at the hotel were also helpful. I would not hesitate to stay at the Club Quarters in Midtown again!!!
