Family With Two Small Children

We called the hotel when we realized that we were going to be very late just to make sure our reservation wasn't given away. They told us that it wasn't their policy to cancel reservations, which really reassured us. It was a relief to finally get to our hotel at 3:30 am and know that our room was still waiting. However, we had reserved queen size beds and when we got to the room they were definitely not queen size. Since we were traveling with our 2 year old and our one month old it was a little cramped. Everything else was great. Since we got there late, they even let us check out an hour late with no charge. It was a little weird to have a member of the hotel staff knock on our door an hour and a half before the regular check out time to ask if we were checking out that day. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels when we used it before checking out. The room had nice decor and we loved that there was a thermostat to set an actual temperature instead of a heater/air conditioner that runs constantly. The bed was amazingly comfortable but the pillows were quite firm. We booked a week in advance and the price was great for the area. Will definitely stay there again the next time we're in the area. Very conveniently located, very safe, plenty of parking.
