Spectacular

This was my first time in Costa Rica and Parque Del Lago Hotel made my stayed wonderful....
The staff was spectacular they treat everyone the same. The rooms are as clean as in the picture. Is near many places like "El Mercado" where you can buy nice suveniour. Is minutes away by car or taxi from clubs. Food was great......the breakfast menu had many variaties...
Will I go to Costa Rica again probably not, but if I do Hotel Parque del Lago will be where I stay.. Not only because is near places but because the staff were all wonderful

I've traveled the word and stayed in hundreds of hotels, this is one of the best! Great value! The breakfast is extensive and delicious. Go back to the restaurant for dinner! Very clean and comfortable. Top notch security! Cool decor. On the edge of downtown, quiet but easy to walk to nearby museums and shopping. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and available to help with anything.

Excellent hotel, would stay there again. Staff outstanding, breakfast great, rooms clean and comfortable, full security around the hotel. Great value.
More suitable for business

The rooms are on the small side which makes it seem more suitable for business travelers than vacationers. The staff were helpful and very accomodating; they moved us into a mini-suite after I complained about the teeny room we were originally given. Restaurant was OK; breakfast was better than dinner and was also complimentary. Location is great- in San Jose, but not immediately downtown where it's noisy and crowded...
