Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Last minute reservation for 1 night. Rooms were clean, staff friendly, beds comfy. They do have room for queens, but use doubles, would be nice to have 2 queens instead, but there is plenty of room for roll away or blow up if needed. Did not reserve room with micro and fridge, but got one anyway....may want to skip reserving these specifically and see if you end up with them anyway and not have to pay for them. TV did not have sleep timer, and heater a little noisy, but those are very minor inconveniences for the price.

This location was very pleasant. The convenient parking started off the stay on the right track. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. All these compliments and we haven't even gotten to the room yet. After getting into the newly remodeled elevator, we went up to our room. We found everything to be very warm and cozy. The room had a fung shei feel to it! Surprisingly, the sheets, towels, and pillows were all top quality. The sheets and towels were soft and had a luxurious feel. The pillows were comfortable. I got a good nigt sleep each night we were there. In regards to the staff, they were attentive, friendly, and helpful. I even requested something and got it in a timely manner. The hotel staff were all very kind and professional. I just wanted to take the time to write this honest review of my stay just less than a week ago. The only suggestion to the potential guest thinking of staying here is to avoid eating the malted waffle mix. I didn't know what it tasted like but it wasn't a frest waffle! The coffee isn't quite Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts quality but at least the service lady in the breakfast room was wiling to double brew my coffee so that it was stronger. Now THAT'S hospitable. The size of the room was quite spacious and roomy too. I have only good comments to share about my stay here at the Baltimore North LaQuinta Inn and Suites. Overall, a great stay!.

We needed a clean, safe place to stay - while visiting daughter at college - with comfortable beds and hot showers. LaQuinta is conveniently located and a less expensive place to stay. When we arrived the exterior was pleasing, the desk clerk was rather non-descript but it was midnight. The room was much nicer than expected. It was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The pillows were VERY comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had hot showers. We did not use any amenities (restaurant, exercise equipment, pool) this time, but I would choose to stay at this hotel again.

On the second night of the stay the alarms went off at 2 o'clock in the mornig they cleared the hotel by yelling in the hall ways. I had paid for three rooms for two nights and when we were standing outside in the rain watching the fire men work NO ONE from the hotel said anything after about an hour they front desk said ok you can come back in Never told any one what the problem was but that the lights were out in the eleavator but you can use it. And she had know idea why the alarms were going off. needless to say we were all so tired and to scared to close your eyes that we skipped all plans of sunday and just drove home. At check out which the maid was banging on the door right at 10:00 am they said nothing about the nightmare the night before - nothing Terrible stay
