Great Hotel, Good Location, Shell Station Awesome

This was our first international trip as a family, so we wanted a hotel with a friendly, helpful staff as we got our barings. They were outstanding, spoke English fluently, and were good resources for reservations and shop suggestions. Having a metro stop literally outside the door was phenomonal, and we were in walking distance of Notre Dame, Latin Quarter and even the Eiffel Tower.
Our triple room was spacious, the bathroom was large and the towels were big and thirsty. If I were to go there on business, I would definitely chose it.
You can't review the hotel without reviewing the Shell station/convenience store. It's right next door, and was an excellent place to grab snacks, wine and bread (baked in the store). We used it frequently when were too tired to go out, or were getting an early start and didn't have time to get to a boulangerie or cafe for breakfast.
The best restaurants close by are in the Latin Quarter, along Boulevard St. Germain. A bit of a walk with an 8 year old, but great opportunity to window shop at designer boutiques along the way. Excellent bookstores, too.
At the end of the vacation, we didn't want to leave, and were very happy with the hotel and the deal we got from travel agent to stay there!

This clean, friendly, service oriented facility is centrally located to many of the major tourist attractions. There is a metro station nearby but, if you brought walking shoes, you can do walking trips in every direction and not lack for things to see and do. There are markets just around the corner if you're on a budget but the food there is excellent. The breakfast buffet lacks for absolutely nothing. Last but not least, most of the employees you come in contact with can speak a fair level of English.

had a great stay here. Location is excellent - 10 steps to metro. Staff is extremely helpful and polite, recommended great restaurants, sights, etc. 3 computers with free internet in lobby is extremely helpful in planning your day. Better than most of the 5 star hotels I have stayed at. Would definitely recommend over any other.
Great staff on the Left Bank

Excellent frontdesk staff, convenient Left Bank location, good-sized state-of-the-art rooms with great beds. An outstanding value! ...except for their breakfast. Find your own - it's in a great neighborhood to find ANYTHING!

REALLY liked this hotel. Very nice on inside, good sized rooms, staff speaks English, great location for people watching and convenience. Free coffee and internet access.
