Great Hotel in a Perfect Location

Have stayed here 10 + times over the past 3 years. Probably the best District in Paris-- a perfect combination of local reality, real Parisians doing what they do at home, fine shopping and easy access to Museums, fine dining, and all the charms of the City. Rue de Bac Metro Station is 20 yards from the front door of the hotel, and that gives you quick access to the entire City in minutes. If you are staying fro a few days or more, get a ParisVisite pass or Carte D'Orange pass for the Metro. The hotel is charming, great and knowledgable front desk staff, not too formal but perfect for business or pleasure. It's not the Ritz, but it is up to date, very well maintained, and a perfect home away from home. Explore the neighborhood, and have a great visit.b Can't go wrong here.

Will Return!!

Beautiful hotel, very good central and convienent location. Always felt very safe. Staff vas very friendly and helpful with directions, and any questions we had. Almost everyone spoke English--there were no communication problems. Rooms were spacious and clean. We especially loved the bathroom with heated floor!

We spent 5 nights at the Cayre on our way in to France and another three at the end of our trip. We were given an upgrade to an executive room for the initial five night stay (I did not ask for this, it was just done). The hotel is in a perfect location in the geographical center of Paris, an easy walk to nearly everything. The Rue du Bac Metro station is 20 meters away. The non-executive room was on the small side but was more than adequate. Wonderful bathrooms with heated floors. There is clear attention to cleanliness and good maintenance. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast is overpriced at 25 Euros (about $37) per person. However, the area is full of good cafes and bakeries, so you can have a wonderful cup of coffee and fresh pastry just down the block for about 5 Euros per person. As noted by prior reviewers, the Shell station in the building next door has a "mini market" which can be quite convenient. In sum, a wonderful experience.

We wanted a hotel for a 5 day romantic getaway, and the K+K Hotel Cayre more than filled the bill. The room, although smallish, was immaculate and stylishly decorated. The heated bathroom floors and flat screen TV were a plus. What really made the hotel exceptional was the staff. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel welcome. All of the front desk staff spoke excellent English and were more than happy to provide information about restaurants, shopping and transportation. A particularly good restaurant just a few blocks away is Le Petite Chaise. The Shell station convenience store truly is right next door and very convenient for bottled water, snacks and other sundries. Although the Metro stop right outside the front door was closed for renovations, there were 3 other stops within a 5 minute walk.
