Nice stay

When I entered the hotel, the attendant greeted me. She was friendly. My check-in was fast. She told me to call the front desk if I have some concerns. Having stayed from a 5-star hotel just two days before, I noticed several things including the carpet at hallway was smelly and needs cleaning. When I got in the room, the room was clean. Beds were clean. Bathroom was clean. The towels were clean. Bedsheets were clean. Soaps, shampoos, tissue paper were all available. Complimentary items like toothbrush and toothpaste were available in the front desk upon request. You have to also request for hair dryers and flat iron/ironing board. There was no heating unit for coffee or tea inside the room. They have television but it was old. Anyway, it was not a big deal for me. I checked out the following day. It was fast as well. All in all, my stay was pleasant. The hotel rate was low but the room was decent. Although they do not have in-house dining, there's a lot of fastfoods and restaurants around the vicinity. Some of the fastfood are open 24 hours. There are also several gasoline stations around the area. There is also a Kroger nearby. The hotel is also accessible from the interstate. If I happen to be in this area in the future I will definitely stay again at Red Roof Inn.

HORRORS

We have stayed here many times. This time was awful! Room was never made. Got another room same way. Finally the 3rd dirty but made. Sheets were not laundered. Requested clean ones. Pool had paper cups, dirty clobs of hair floating about. Awful!

Filthy! Stay away!

This place is cheap, but its filthy. There was hair in the bed and shower. Our socks were black after walking on the carpet. When we woke in the morning, there were fleas on us and cockroaches in the bathroom. Spend the extra money or drive a little further down the road and stay anywhere else.

Awakened at 2:00 AM by hip hop assault around hotel with loud music, screaming, horns, lights shining in rooms, doors slamming, loud partying. Was told next day inexperienced night clerk had booked a high school prom for the night. Dealt with this night clerk when I checked in and she was totally unprofessional, telling us she "was overwhelmed" and "couldn't figure out what she was doing."(2 people were trying to check in at the time.) Won't go back! Rooms OK and clean otherwise. Day staff pleasant, night staff needs an upgrade.
