We stayed here for my grandchildren's 13th birthday celebration. The rooms were clean and large. The staff was wonderful and I felt very safe. The only disappointment was the swimming pool which was very small and not heated which meant it was completely useless.
If you DO NOT plan on hanging around the hotel to relax around the pool, this is a good choice.

Too small, too noisey, walls are way too thin. Checked out after first night.

Good for a chain hotel, if you want frills, keep looking. Goods: Free Parking, wireless internet, continental breakfast, Micro-Fridge, iron, coffeemaker. Bed/pillows were great. Shower had good pressure. Location was great, Walking distance to restaurants. Ten minute drive to Universal and airport. Bads: Water temperature fluctuated. Shower isn't made for tall people. Cordless phone didn't work, neither did wake-up service. Pool was disappointing, small, only 4' deep. All in all, for the price and location, nice place to stay. If I return to the area, I would not hesitate to stay again.

For a chain motel this has an almost a boutique atmosphere in a quiet, out of the way location with underground parking, a Greek restaurant across the street, and Univeral Studios just around the bend, all of Griffith Park and the Getty Museum, the Grove etc not that much further away
