Ok, first of all the hotel is not that close to downtown Savannah. It is about 20 miles away and I had to take two highways to get there. If a person did not care about the distance to downtown Savannah this hotel does have several restaurants etc. near it. This is a hotel I would NOT stay in again. My friend and I wished we would have booked something different as soon as we walked into the room. The pillow cases were noticeably dirty, I had to go down and ask for clean new ones. The towels barely covered my body and I am average. The bathroom was not good. The shower spout was coming off the wall. The rack to hang up towels was broken off the wall and the bathtub was not clean! Thanks heavens we had only booked one night! Oh . . . there is no elevator, so anyone who would need that accomodation definitely does not want to stay here.
The value for the money was terrible. I had just come in from Hilton Head and stayed at a hotel there for about the same price and the hotel in HH was awesome. So I know hotels can be great for their value, but this hotel is NOT!

First of all everything was dirty, the bed, blankets, chair etc.... we had to kind of pick through both beds to get the cleanest ones, if it hadnt been so late we would have just left and rented a different motel. The bed was somewhat comfy but i didnt sleep well because i wasn't sure if someone might break in with the type of people that were staying there. The a/c was very old and didnt put out much air. Only good thing i can say about the room was that the water pressure for the shower was good. Would not reccomend staying here to anyone!!!
THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS!!

This hotel was OLD, not well maintained, and not very clean. I requested a non-smoking room and was given a key to a smoking room. The room was and building were dirty. The door looked like it had been broken in at some point. I left immediately after seeing the room - the only good point was the staff seemed okay. I found another hotel "light years" ahead of this one for only $10 more a night. This is the hotel of last resort.
A Total Dump

We were on a bus trip with 45 other people from our park. At the last minute the travel provider changed our accomodations in downtown Savannah to this dump. They were not ready for us but as the rooms were assigned and people went in we found a filthy, rundown hotel. It was also in a bad area of town with no restaurants within walking distance.
Many of the beds had little thin mattresses with dirty box springs. One of the people pulled the sheet back and found black hairs. We left and found another hotel which would accommodate us.

Our room was very clean. The entire hotel is in desparate need of updating. Could really use some cosmetic work. Paint would greatly improve the look. Only got one serving of coffee in room. Never replaced it after that. Beds were terrible.
