Description: The city of Las Vegas was always on the top of our list of places to visit. It’s the city were people go for gambling and also simply to be amazed by the large hotels and casino’s. I knew it wasn’t a place were you go for the culture and historic buildings but simply to have some fun. You have some famous hotels with the big casino’s but they certainly come for a heavy price.
We stayed at the Excalibur which is located in the heart of the famous Las Vegas Strip. It’s a themed hotel with it’s medieval theme and it even features a castle at the entrance. The whole theme goes trough the hotel but also to the adjoined casino were you can admire the swords, chandeliers and shields! It’s certainly a large hotel with alsmost 4000 rooms and is it certainly one of the biggest hotels i ever stayed at.
The main feature of the hotel is the casino but of course we stayed mostly at this hotel is get some sleep! We stayed at the standard room but this is a very large room which has a large plasma television, telephone, ironing facilities and a private bathroom with a large bathtub/shower combination. What i always love in America is that the beds are enormous and you can easlily sleep with four people in bed. What i love is that downstairs it can be very hectic with all the people and shows going on but when in the room you can’t hear anything of it.
There are a lot of facilties at the hotel including a spa and a pool were you can go swimming. Ofcourse you have the wireless internet at the hotel. It’s surely a large hotel and we didn’t stay that much at the hotel because there is simply too much to do in town!
