No more travelodge 4 me

This hotel is run down and in desperate need of renovation. Even from the exterior it looks haggared. Our rooms were not not clean, the bathroom required a deep clean before we could use it. The hotel and many surrounding hotels were full, so once there we were stuck. We got exactly what we paid foe! A roof over our head, beds, and a poor breakfast. I was shocked that the hotel was charging almost 50% moe for rooms our size to people arriving with no reservation. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for our anniversary. The desk clerks are rude or just ignore you. The room had no chairs to sit in and no TV remote. The towel rack by the sink was broken off and dangling. The bath tub was moldy. The beds are hard as a rock. There is no elevator so you must carry your bags upstairs. There is only one ice machine on the ground floor all the way at the back - none upstairs. The manager was nice and apologetic but argues with his staff in front of the customers. Its located by the highway and is very noisy. It's absolutely not worth the money to stay here. There are too many hotels in San Antonio for the same price or better to have to put up with poor customer service. Pick another one.
