This was our 4th visit to Las Vegas and we would definitely stay at MGM Grand again. Nice hotel, nice location, nice price. It seemed as though their casino was the least smokey than other casinos we visited on our trip so we enjoyed that as well! Great housekeeping staff, clean room, pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Quick check in and check out.
Fantastic

This was my 2nd visit to Vegas and my 1st time staying on the strip. The MGM Grand had always been my 1st choice for a return trip and i was not disappointed. The hotel itself is awesome, the room superb, the view incredible. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, room service was excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about the MGM and hope to stay there again as soon as i can afford another trip!!

I stayed with my husband for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was a great experience overall. The hotel has everyhing, from the monorail to the shopping mall, and restaurants. They have at least some affordable places to eat such as located in the mall. Also, their buffet special for $29.99 per person for the day was very practical. It is a very large hotel and you have to walk a lot but is worth it. We taught at the beginning when we arrived that we would have a bad experience since the room we were assigned was not cleaned when we went to take our luggages to the room. They assigned us a new room right away with a better view. The next day we changed room again for a king size bed on the same floor we were on so overall, the customer service was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but especially those who are traveling with children. There is Mcdonalds, and an arcade.
WOW Is this place huge??!!!!

MGM's casino was the most pleasant, brightest and least smoky on the strip from what I experienced. I stayed here for a business conference and in the evenings checked out other casinos, but MGM's definitely was the easiest to get around, with plenty of space to move if you were in a scooter or wheelchair. Easy to find restaurants and shops, but you could also find your way around the casino itself very easily.
Easy access to monorail which is NOT the case at some of the other hotels where you have to wander through back alleys and around dumpsters to find your way.
Worst part of my stay - being awakened by what sounded like a jackhammer running upstairs at 2 AM. We called the front desk. Their explanation was that people frequently fall asleep in the bathtub with the water running, and what we were hearing was the vacuum soaking up the water. We turned the lights on and sure enough there was water leaking through the ceiling. The hotel didn't offer ANYTHING for this inconvenience. The sound continued for 45 minutes! If this is a frequent occurence, I think the hotel should either put an automatic shutoff on their faucets, or standardly comp room service breakfast the next day for anyone who calls complaining about this problem. Rooms are VERY far away from the conference center. A 15 - 20 minute walk each day. I am hoping my next conference is somewhere else because of this!
Not worth the price!

We were "upgraded" when we arrived to the West wing because the hotel did not have the king bed we requested; don't fall for this. After a ten minute walk we finally arrived to our room and were unimpressed. When we trudged back to the front desk with our luggage (how did we miss the bellman?!?!?) the second clerk we dealt with miraculously found us a king bed in the original tower we had requested. The hotel is clean, but very overpriced, given what it has to offer. Save your money and stay somewhere cheaper and just visit if you want to take in the shows or casinos. Also unless your at the slots be prepared to fork out ALOT for a drink at this hotel!
