If you are looking to stay in a great location on the strip then look no further. The casino was nice and there was so much to do. My friend and I went on a "girls" trip and had a great time. From the roller coaster, spa, Zumanity show, piano bar, and the variety of restaurants we stayed very busy. The hotel is located very close to great shopping (Inside Planet Hollywood was a lot of great shops) as well. We had a great time playing the table games..many of the dealers were personable making it more fun to play. And the slots paid well. My only complaint was the bed. We stayed in the Park Avenue room with two queens and it was roomy with a very nice bathroom but the beds were terrible with hard pillows. I had a hard time sleeping and you could hear the roller coaster at night.

Fantastic!!

We stayed at New York, NY just a couple of weeks ago and had a great time!! Our stay was short, but fulfilling to say the least. There is soooo much to do just inside the hotel, it kept us busy and interested 2 nights we stayed in Vegas. Highly recommend Gallaghers steak resteraunt. Everything was amazing, service and all. You must try their cheesecake....it is to die for!!! The only negative comment I would have for this hotel is that our room was not anything special, we stayed in the standard deluxe room. The shower was terrible having no water pressure. Our view was great though, facing the strip. I would not have upgraded to a different room because we barely spent any time in it anyway. So, the shower was not really a big deal to us. Next time we go to Vegas, we WILL stay with New York, New york!!!

This is a wonderful hotel with lots of great stuff to do. The pool area is not very large but there is a nice pool bar so that is great. I would definately recommend this hotel to stay at but dont expect much out of Coyote Ugly it is a complete joke and the girls dont dance on the bar like the original in New York City. The only dowfalls to this hotel is the check in and out process takes way too long and there are way too many Tahati-Village time share people trying to get you to take a tour. There are many places inside the hotel to eat at and are very price appropriate, there is a real New York city feel inside this hotel and restaurants.

Friendly, comfy, priced right and fun!

For our 11th anniversary we took 3 days off and went to Las Vegas with nothing more in mind than the chance to hold hands and make moo-moo eyes at one another. We chose to stay at The New York, NY because of the great deal offered here and because we'd never stayed there before. It was absolutely wonderful! The staff were accommodating and helpful, as well as being friendly and cheerful. Our room was lovely- the view was better than promised and the king sized bed was firm and very comfy. I liked the extra pillows and towels provided, the closets with interior lights, the reading chair with ottoman, and the marble shower. There was a make-up mirror provided, a blow dryer, iron and board, and all the toiletries you might forget. We were on the 36th floor and never had to wait more than a moment for an elevator as there were a couple of express cars just for floors 30 and up. We tried a couple of the eateries on site and I can't rave enough about Nine Fine Irishmen- the NY, NY pub. Their Irish cider and drink selection was outstanding and the food was delicious. With lots of architectural interest, this full sized restaurant feels like an intimate pub. The servers and staff at the pub were all friendly and happy to customize a corned beef sandwich and answer questions about their drink offerings. Overall, I can truly recommend the New York, NY as a lovely place to stay when going to Vegas. It's not quite central on the strip, but you can walk anywhere from there and cabs are plentiful if your feet are tired. The value was terrific, the service was outstanding, the facility was fun and clean, the whole place was great!
