The room upgrades are awesome. The view is gorgeous looking down on the strip. The hotel help was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Would stay again...

We upgraded our room for a view of the strip for an extra $ a night. MONEY WELL SPENT...
the room was big and recently renovated.
The only thing that I did not like is that there were not enough lounge chairs at the pool; I went down at 9 a.m. and put a few shirts on the chairs to hold them. I went back at noon and they were moved. The people next to me were told by the NY NY staff that if no one was there within 30 mins, they could move my things.
There was no sign posted like that at the pool.
I also liked having an in room safe.
Housekeeping staff very nice and accommodating.
Good environment....rooms need updating

This hotel has a good environment; good food eateries. Lots of free parking but quite a walk to registration. Offered an upgrade for +$1*per night. Room was standard size but really could use some updating. VERY small TV. Plenty of drawer/closet space.
Try to get a room AWAY from the roller coaster otherwise you will get to hear the screams until midnite.
Pool hours are terrible!! Only open until 6:00pm!?!?
No refrigerator or coffee maker in room.
In-room safe was nice and very easy to operate.
Location of hotel is easily accessible from all directions. Very close to freeways and the airport.

I spent one night here and loved every moment of it. The room was great. Bed was soft and room was very clean. IMy flight and shuttle dropped me off prior to check-in time. The front desk was extremely helpful and was able to get me in a room immediately. Everyone I talked to was very helpful.
Will recommend NY NY to anyone.
Make sure to get a players card while your here.
good bang for the buck

this was a first time trip to Las Vegas and booked as a last minute package. Check-in took a little while. The hotel is in a great location - and you can use the Duece bus line to get just about anywhere. Plenty of snack-type restaurants in NY-NY. We thought the rooms were adequate though the beds are a little hard (but who goes to Las Vegas to sleep?).
