Needs work on overall cleanliness

We stayed for one night during a trip to Ghost Town, mainly for our daughter to enjoy the pool, but it was so dirty that she didn't even want to stick her toe in the murky water. It pretty much ruined the excitement of staying over for her. The room was pretty clean and the beds were very comfortable, but the carpet in the room and in the corridors was nasty. Breakfast was very minimal. Some donuts or danish and a variety of fruit would have been nice.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in maggie valley! it was off-season, but that just led us to find all the quaint little stops we may not have, in-season. definitely go to joe's for breakfast, a MUST!!!! the hotel was close to ghost-town in the sky, and asheville, and we caught a great rod run in cherokee, too. didnt get to use the pool, but it looked inviting. the room was nice...had plenty of space, and it was clean.

This is a great hotel - it had everything we needed - it was inexpensive, had a pool and hot tub, wireless internet and free breakfast. The front desk staff members were always friendly and helpful - we'd go there again!

noisy, cheaply built, absolute minimum breakfast facilities and selection, burns in "non smoking" room, comfortable bed
