Wonderful

This was our second trip to Las Vegas having stayed at Paris the first time. We really liked the location of this hotel as well as the hotel itself. It was very clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable and the staff helpful. The room service was very good as well. The only thing I would recommend is do not rent a car through the hotel as it was pretty expensive. We didn't have a chance to look around for other options in doing this or we would have. I know we could have got a better price on the car rental but it was very convenient.

Hotel lobby was very clean and easy check in. Room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Pleased with the food at the Cafe and also ate at the food court and buffet. Nice to have choices. Casino seemed a little more smoke filled than others. Pool was a litte crowded but very enjoyable. Not a good experience with wait service at pool, 1 hour. Information desk lady was not really pleasant or helpful. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Vacation

Our stay at the Monte Carlo was okay...the room was clean. It was a bit noise do to construction with jack hammering and trucks blowing their horn. I just turned on our air conditioner which helped drowned out the "construction noise", but of course there was still noise. The shower drained very slowly so you had to stand in ankle deep water(Yucky). Another negative for our stay was that the pool closed very early. The pool was what our 17 year old was looking forward to, so that was a big disappointment. We also felt that the buffet was way over priced. Check in and check out was pretty smooth. We also used another hotel's computer and printer to get our boarding documents because the Monte Carlo charges for this service and the other hotel didn't. We would most likely check out some other hotels before we stayed here again.

Friendly Service at the Monte Carlo in Vegas

Me and a friend stayed at the Monte Carlo in Vegas for five nights and the staff were consistently friendly, accomodating and helpful. The food at Andres fine dining was excellent and the staff very skilled at their profession. The cafe also had good food and the buffet was of course bountiful with good food. Service was unquestionably excellent....they must train their staff to pay attention to people because they always acknowledged people even if they weren't waiting on them. The onlly downfall was the pools close for good at 7pm and that was a drag for any nighttime swimming and they don't have a really hot club....However, we plan to stay there again.....

Would not recomend this hotel. Buffet was overpriced and food was not very good. Casino floor has older machines. Room was on the older side and beds were not comfortable. Pool is over crowded and noisy.
