Good stay

We stayed 3 days and what impressed us most was the breakfast area. The staff was constantly restocking and cleaning the food bar and seating area. Also, there was ample room for quite a few guests to be served at a time. This is a valuable plus for making a lasting good impression and I wish more motels would take note.We have stayed at other motels in the area but we will come back to this one.

Poor Upkeep!

The first room we were assigned to the beds were not made and the room smelled. I went to the front office and they gave me another room. This time the paint on the ceiling was peeling but the room didn't smell too bad. They need to spend some money to fix up the place.

Not the Waldorf, but you'll sleep just as good!

The rooms are clean. Beds are confortable. Free breakfast is pretty good. Furniture a little outdated, but it serves the purpose and once I was asleep I din't know the difference. Good value for the price. I would use again. Also stoped to eat at the Edelweiss restaurant, (on the Day's Inn list) the food is good, but rather overpriced. Not worth it!

Fall Excursion

We had a handicapped room due to knee injuries which make getting in out of tubs difficult. The walk in shower was awesome. The bed was fabulous. Unfortunately we overslept breakfast, but the awesome fall drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains the next morning made up for it all . Definitely hope to return next year!

Great Place

This was the least expensive in the area and all we needed was an overnight stay on our travels. The place was easy to get to, right near the interstate. Was clean and the personnel were nice and friendly. They had a nice breakfast bar that even offered belgium waffles that you could make yourself, along with a limited but very nice selection of other breakfast items. Coffee was good too!! This is a pet friendly hotel, which was another requirement for us.The bed was comfortable with good pillows to choose from The shower was great. Relaxing after a long drive.
