Enjoyable Stay

My wife and I were there for two days exploring the area as we are thinking of possibly relocating there in the future. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The front desk was very helpful. Beth, in particular, went out of her way to answer our questions and give us some suggestions on places to check out while we were down there. Will definately stay there again if we're in the area.

Room was fine. Lots of pillows and clean linens. Fridge and microwave incl. Everything clean. Desk people were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Many dogs but no noise or problems. We felt welcome with our little one. GREAT Mexican restaurant next door.
Clean & Comfortable

17 years old, but updated, clean, & comfortable. Walls seemed a little thin ? easy to hear the people in an adjoining room. Mexican restaurant next door. Anything else, you'll need a car, but everything's a short drive away. 3.5 miles to downtown Blacksburg, 1 mile to the mall & ever-ubiquitous WalMart. Easy access to the highway via new VA 460 Bypass. Free hi-speed Internet - ethernet in the rooms, wireless in the lobby. Seems slightly more expensive than other hotels nearby, but easily worth the extra $15 - $20 per night. Would happily stay there again.

Great location. Close to restaurants, college, and hospital. Easy access from highway. Rooms were clean and had a desk for workspace. The shower head was low. The waffle iron did not work very well. I had used the waffle iron at other hotels and had no problem. There was some fruit but the rest of the continental breakfast was not that great compared to other hotels that I have been to. A pleasant surprise that a Fridge and microwave was in the room.

We stayed two nights, room was clean, fitness center and pool very nice. Wireless Internet only available in lobby. Nice continental breakfast but never enough room for all guests to sit, ended up going back up to the room with our plates.
