Beautiful Resort

I had the best time staying at this hotel, Everything was perfect. I would diffenitly recommend getting the fountain view room, you wont want to leave. We found ourselves not wanting to leave the resort, cause you have everything you need or could want there.

Girls First Trip to Vegas

Planet Hollywood is a very nice, clean hotel. Everyone was friendly. We got an upgrade for free on our room. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. Hallways and rooms were quiet. Some of the decor was still the old Alladin stuff but it was clean. Restaurants were too expensive except for the Earl of Sandwich. Denny's just down the street is reasonable and the walk is not bad or you can use the Deuce Bus system. Don't recommend the taxis, they take you out of the way. Casino was too tight however. Gamble elsewhere.

Very Accommodating

Planet Hollywood was very accommodating. We tried to check in early but our room wasn't ready yet. To compensate for the room not being ready, even though check in time was a few hours away, the hotel upgraded us at no cost to a larger room. On our check out day we were able to extend our stay for 1/2 a day (until 6pm; check out is at 11am) and it only cost of 1/2 that day's daily rate.

I miss the Aladdin....

The attached was sent to the manager, who was very gracious enough refund the. I normally self park since I HATE to have to wait for a valet - your self parking lot was so far from the hotel and I had to walk thru the mall while dragging my luggage just to get to the lobby. Other hotel garages are direct to the hotel. The window shade drape was AWFUL - it was off track and crooked. This was only a cosmetic thing, but it was very noticeable and I would not expect an upgraded room to have this obvious thing wrong - housekeeping should have reported it and had it fixed. In the meantime I called, but no one came. The room air conditioning vent is directly across from the piece of furniture that is affixed to the wall (next to the window), which had no obvious purpose whatsoever and I personally think that should be taken down! The room depiction on the Internet does not show this. The problem is the air conditioning is weak at best (and not at all cold enough to cool the size of the room) and given the location this cold air is going directly into the block of wood furniture and the air is not circulating. I have never been as miserable in a Vegas hotel room (as far as temperature) in my life! I had to sleep and stay on that one side of the bed just to get a hint of cool air. The constant loud "disco" type music in the casino was distracting and tiring after awhile. If I wanted to be in a nightclub - I'd go to one. It was extremely annoying - all of the other casinos have "backgroud" music playing. There was too much going on in the casino in terms of decoration etc., - not only was it gaudy - it was hard to figure out where things were. Needless to say - I will inform my other Vegas buddies that there is no point in stopping at Planet Hollywood - for anything. Also, some of these comments WILL APPEAR on TripAdvisor.com.

FOLKS keep your kids at home, VEGAS is not for the under 21. The hotel was great other than kids running up and down the hall ways. Poeple don't get it, VEGAS is adult for entertainment, need to take kids take them to disney.
