Bally's is a great small and intimate hotel. My family and I always stay here, and we love it each time. The pool does suck, but the casino isn't so big that we get lost, and the food is okay. We always eat at Ichiban, a great Japanese food restaurant.

I knew that I wanted to stay on the Strip, but most hotels were out of my price range. Luckily, I found a great deal at Bally's.

The location of the hotel was wonderful, had very easy access to the Paris Hotel (its sister property), and was right across the street from the Bellagio, Ceasars Palace, etc. For the location and ease of getting around alone, I would recommend this hotel.

The room itself wasn't spectacular, but how much time do you really spend in it anyway? It was nice but could have used some refurbishing (as in cleaning the windows and some paint). It was a big room with two queen-size beds and a large bathroom. The view was spectacular (even through the dirty glass)! We could see the Bellagio water fountain and light show and had a great view down the Strip.

The rest of the hotel was quite nice. They had some construction going on down in their shopping promenade, but the stores that were open were nice (expensive, but what isn't?). They had a great margarita bar in the back of the casino and a fun "sidewalk" cafe.

I'm a loyal Ballygoer; I have spent the four past summers here. Get on their email list or call the hotel for local promotions.

At night, visit the Big Kitchen Buffet for cross-sectioned crab legs (no cracking!). In the morning, go to the Paris breakfast buffet for their ridiculous crepe station! The Rooms are a bit outdated, but very spacious. Location is excellent - you are right in the middle of everything (Bellagio across the street - Ceasar's across the street).

No frills here. With Paris next door, you'll have the best of both worlds: economy and extravagance.

Clean and decent. We like to stay here as it is centrally located. It is also not so big that you get lost trying to find the door. They have a nice small cafe, a buffet, and a couple of other restaurants.

I stayed here on a trip to Vegas in August 2001. I was very impressed with the new modern look of the rooms. They had just undergone a remodel and they had this really cool sofa in the room. The rooms were worth the price paid. Our room had two queen beds, a sofa, a TV, a bathroom, and a cool desk with a phone that had speakerphone, which was fun when we'd call room to room to other members of our group. It's the only hotel I remember having a speakerphone!
