TINY rooms- and NOISY!

THe hotel has VERY small rooms. Ours was above the Leopard room where loud, live music is played until 1 AM. They would not change our rooms. Only the lobby and off-lobby rooms are nice. The bed did not seem to be QUEEN size either. It is dated and needs major refurbishing to keep up with Palm Beach. They need to create larger rooms! Ours was also dark with poor lighting. Check out the Brazialian Court around the corner for a bit more money. This place is OVER priced! They are understaffed as well. No one even told us about where to have breakfast or where anything (including the pool) was. I had to ask!

If you''re looking for a hotel with a bit more charm than others on the island, give the Chesterfield a try. The hotel has a light stucco facade with high arched windows that give way to a lobby decorated with Laura Ashley prints. It make the hotel feel and look like a country-manor not a hotel.
The room we had was so beautiful even though we didn''t have a view. The furniture is dark wood and the prints made the room seem "airy". I loved sitting in the lobby library, with its many books that can be borrowed. They even serve afternoon tea.
