Not perfect, but pretty darn good

This is a good hotel if you want a small, ocean-front place. We were willing to skip the concierge/amenities stuff to have a low-rise, truly oceanfront hotel at a reasonable price. The downside: no air conditioning, and the pool is a little small. There is precious little sandy beach out front. The upside: you can hear the surf, snorkel off of the grassy front yard, and there's a neat coffeeshop/market across the street! For walkers, bikers, and runners: the adjacent street is level and uncrowded. The price leaves some room in the budget for extra activities. Our family of five had a wonderful time here, and will remember this vacation for a long time.

We booked a garden view room, and was upgraded free of charge to an ocean front room. Room is basic as indicated by the 2.5 star rating, and the sofa bed could use an upgrade. However, the room layout is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool/spa is small, but adequate. Plenty of beach chairs along the ocean front. Best of all, it is a quiet, small condo/hotel compared to the one that held thousands in Lahaina. The place is never crowd, and is ideal for people in search of peace and relaxation.

Hawaiian Dream

This hotel was superior. It was the best accomodation we had on our trip - 5 islands, 5 hotels.
The balcony was perfect for family meals, the view was unforgetable. The sunrises and sunsets, especially were terrific. The sound of the waves were so relaxing and the mountain view beyond the bay was just so wonderful. We had rainbows forming out the window on the bay and turtles swam by. Relaxing by the shore in the hotels lounge chairs with a cool beverage really made the vacation. It was my ideal of a Hawaiian vacation.

I can honestly say I had the most enjoybale and relaxing vacation I had ever had. The Resort was wonderful and very accomodating and helpful in every way. I highly recomend ResortQuest Paki Maui. It is the best for the dollar without giving up anything.

Great Value for your money excellent location on the west side of Maui. Rooms are well mantained and spacious. (2nd bedroom is small but great for kids, with 2 twin) Views from balcony, living room and master bedroom is fabulous. Grounds are basic, but lovely. I have stayed here 3 times, no a/c, but generally not a problem do to island breezes.
